Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is set to be reunited with Harry Redknapp after securing a £3million move back to London with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 29-year-old only joined the Reds last summer after leaving Chelsea on a free but has endured a torrid first season on Merseyside.
The England international chose a move to Liverpool over Spurs 12 months ago but because of injury and suspension never cemented his place in the starting XI and scored only two goals in 20 appearances.

Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock claims that reports of interest in Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole are wide of the mark as the former Chelsea star is too expensive for the newly promoted R’s.
“What we have here is perceived money,” Warnock said in the Evening Standard.
“I don’t think anyone wants to splash out fortunes.
