Media reports suggest that Zenit St Petersburg are interested in bringing Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel back to Russia.
The Russian transfer window does not close until February 24 and Skrtel could be available for around £13million.
Skrtel has been inconsistent this season and come under scrutiny from Brendan Rodgers for his performances.
Still, the UK transfer window is closed, so of Liverpool sell Skrtel this month, they will have to go with a backline of Carragher and Agger for the rest of the season, with no real cover behind them.
That is too risky for me. Why not wait until the season is over and then sell Skrtel?
